We are seeking a professional Mechanic to join our team on a Full Time basis in Darwin, NT, Australia. The successful candidate will hold a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (AUR30620).

About the Role

The Mechanic will play a vital role in maintaining the standard and reputation of Gold Coast Mechanical Services. They will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining a wide range of light vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine car maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, transmission flushes, air conditioner re-charges, front-end alignments, battery installations and headlight/taillight installations
• Maintain a working knowledge of current industry best practices in automotive repair
• Conduct extensive diagnostic procedures to determine the sources of customers’ problems and provide accurate repair recommendations
• Inspect vehicles according to the state’s requirements for emissions and safety
• Collaborate with repair team to diagnose problems with vehicles and plan repairs

Qualifications

The successful candidate must hold a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (AUR30620).
